Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Valve

The simplest type of pressure reducing valve. It features a flat diaphragm or bellows. As a self-contained unit, it does not require an external sensing line downstream. It is the most compact and economical among the three types, designed for medium to low flow rates. The accuracy of a direct-acting pressure reducing valve is typically within +/-10% of the downstream set point. The main pressure reducing valve product names of China Pressure Reducing Valve Network include:Features And Functions Of Corrugated Pipe Reducing Valve,GAS Reducing Valve,Hige Sensitivity Steam Reducing Valve,Electric Double Seat Steam Reducing Valve,diaphragm-Type Reducing Valve, diaphragm Adjustable Reducing And Stabilized Valve

Piston-Type Pressure Reducing Valve Pressure relief valve

This type integrates two valvesa pilot valve and a main valveinto one assembly. The pilot valve design is similar to that of a direct-acting valve. The exhaust pressure from the pilot valve acts on a piston, which then opens the main valve. This design utilizes inlet pressure to open the main valve when it is too large to be opened directly. Therefore, compared to direct-acting valves, this type offers higher capacity and accuracy (+/-5%) for the same pipe size. Similar to direct-acting valves, it senses pressure internally and does not require an external sensing line.

Diaphragm-Type Pressure Reducing Valve

In this type, a dual diaphragm replaces the piston found in internally piloted piston valves. This increased diaphragm area allows for the opening of a larger main valve, providing greater capacity than internally piloted piston valves for the same pipe size. Additionally, the diaphragm is more sensitive to pressure changes, achieving an accuracy of up to +/-1%. The higher precision is due to the positioning of the external downstream sensing line in a location with less fluid or gas turbulence. This valve is highly versatile and can be equipped with different types of pilot valves (e.g., pressure, temperature, air-loaded, solenoid valves, or a combination thereof).Pressure relief valve Suppliers

Basic Performance:

(1) Pressure Adjustment Range: This refers to the adjustable range of the output pressure (P2) of the pressure reducing valve, within which specified accuracy must be maintained. The adjustment range is primarily related to the stiffness of the pressure adjustment spring.

(2) Pressure Characteristic: This refers to the characteristic of output pressure fluctuation caused by input pressure fluctuations when the flow rate (g) is constant. Smaller output pressure fluctuations indicate better valve performance. The output pressure must be consistently lower than the input pressure by a certain value to remain largely unaffected by changes in input pressure.

(3) Flow Characteristic: This refers to the characteristic of how the output pressure changes with variations in the output flow rate (g) when the input pressure is constant. Smaller changes in output pressure when the flow rate changes are desirable. Generally, the lower the output pressure, the less it fluctuates with changes in output flow.
