Control Valve Repair Shop Condition

2010-11-03

Is there any specific requirement for a control valve maintenance/test shop with regard to temperature and humidity? Does it need to meet "clean room" criteria? Are you aware of any references (code, standard)? The general answer is probably no, but then again different questions can come up: nuclear, medical, high accuracy, calibration and in case accreditaion and certification, electronic equipment, humaan protection if tests at high pressure and testing at overpressure, if chemical and or explosives......etc., etc....What are the purpose, tasks to be performed and 'customers', and will extra qualifications of facilities be paid for by expected income?Better perhaps to start with a more accurate definition of targets?
