Reducing valve introduction
Reducing valve through controlling body hoist parts opening degree to regulate media flow, reducing the media pressure, at the same time with the role of pressure after valve to regulate hoist parts opening degree, makes pressure after valve to maintain a certain range , and spray cooling water into body or after valve, makes the temperature reduced, such valves are known as decompression temperature reduction valve. The characteristics of the valve is under the inlet pressure changing circumstances, keeping the outlet pressure and temperature value within a certain range.
Reducing valve is widely used in high-rise building, city water supply network and high water pressure areas, mines, and other occasions, in order to ensure each point of water supply system access to appropriate service water pressure and flow. Given the water leak rate and waste degree is almost the same proportion to the size of the water supply system water pressure, so reducing valve has effects of improving system operating conditions and potential water-saving, according to statistics its water-saving effect is about 30%.
Reducing valve has many structural types, in the past commonly are diaphragm-type, inner spring piston and so on. The basic principle of reducing valve is reducing water pressure with inner valve flow channel to local resistance, water pressure drop range is automatically adjusted by diaphragm connects with disc or inlet and outlet water pressure differential of piston, in recent years some new pressure reducing valves have been produced, such as fixed ratio pressure reducing valve. its principle is using the floating piston water pressure ratio in the body to control the inlet and outlet end decompression is inversely proportional to inlet and outlet sides piston areas. Such reducing valves work smoothly without vibration; body without spring, so no spring corrosion, metal fatigue failure; good sealing performance without leaking, thus both reducing the dynamic pressure (water flows) also static pressure (flow rate is 0 ); particularly when decompression, it will not affect the water flow at the same time.
Reducing valves usually have DN50 ~ DN100 and other specifications, the work pressure before and after valves is <1MPa and 0.1 ~ 0.5MPa, voltage range error is ± 5% ~ 10%.
