Valve adjustable feature
Reducing valve adjustable feature is decided by the internal parts structure, the so-called adjustable feature is the relationship between the relative flow capacity that flows through medium and the relative opening degree, the relative flow capacity is the ratio of flow capacity in certain opening degree and the flow capacity in full opening degree. The relative opening degree is the ratio of certain opening degree and full opening degree(1). Reducing valve adjustable feature is shown in Figure 3.
From Figure 3, you can see that pressure reducing valve has a good linear regulating features, the opening degree at about 10% when in the minimum flow, this point makes valve worked smooth when it is close to closing, ensuring shutdown tightly. Within normal adjustable range, the flow changes is a linear relationship with the valve opening degree.
