Structural features
Direct action on diaphragm-TYPE water branch pipe pressure reducing valve is mainly used for various building water supply system, fire control system, the central air conditioning system, heating system, etc. It can be used for branch pipe decompression, watersupply pressure distribution more balanced, avoid part water supply point overpressure, optimize the high-rise building water supply. Direct action on diaphragm-type water branch pipe reducing valve can replace partition FM transmission pumps, partition pumps o water system in the fire f, household water supply system, can protect all the faucet and other instruments.
Working principle
Outlet pressure impact on the disc undersurface of the diaphragm ground.when it is over spring setting, compression spring, the valve closed. As long as no water flows downstream, the outlet pressure will basicly maintain its setting value (the variation is only 8% of the inlet pressure variation), When the downstream water exists, outlet pressure drop, and the spring push off diaphragm to open valve. After a continuous flow circulation, the opens of the reducing valve generate the self-damping effect, make the on-off movement equilibrium.
Possible reasons for failure
1. In cold areas, frost damage attention.
2. Flow direction is installed wrong, reducing valve turn into check valve, outlet pressure is 0.
3. Spring is too tight, cannot twist valve closed, valve is straight-through P2 = P1.
4. by-pass pipe leaks makes P2 deviate the setting value, for the reliability and durability of valve, not installing by-pass pipe is advisable.

Installation methods
In the domestic water supply system, reducing valve usually is installed at the back of the water meter, in order to protect all instrument behind. If frozen peril, you should pay attension to the heating or draining to evacuation. Valve can be installed in any direction of 360 °, but the arrow cast on the valve body and the actual flow direction must be consistent.
